Current position
Youngstudio.uk does not set advertising cookies, analytics identifiers or use browser local storage for tracking. Its first-party analytics system creates aggregate statistics without placing an identifier on a public visitor's device. It is used solely to improve the website, not to profile people or measure advertising.
Anonymous website measurement is on for this browser.
Young Studio receives aggregate usage measurements. You can object immediately and without losing access to any part of the website.
The objection preference
If you stop anonymous measurement above, the website sets one first-party preference cookie named ys_analytics with the value off. It lasts for up to one year, is sent only to youngstudio.uk and exists solely to remember and respect that choice. Allowing measurement again removes it.
Private studio access
Authorised Young Studio staff who sign in to the private reporting area receive an essential, HTTP-only session cookie named ys_insights_session. It is restricted to that private area, expires after 12 hours and is not used to measure public visitors.
Information measured
The system retains the page path, broad device category, referring domain, allow-listed campaign label and selected useful actions as aggregate counts. It does not retain full referrer URLs, arbitrary query strings, raw network addresses, names, email addresses, keystrokes, recordings or individual browsing histories.
Essential infrastructure
The hosting and security infrastructure processes ordinary HTTP request information to deliver and protect the website. The signed enquiry-form token is included in the page and submitted with the form; it is not stored as a browser cookie.
Why there is no consent banner
Current UK rules permit narrowly configured statistical measurement for improving a website without prior consent when visitors receive clear information and a simple, free means to object. If Young Studio later introduces a purpose outside that exception, this statement and the website controls will be changed before it is activated.
