Remove a device, viewing data or an account without losing your media.
Finetic separates data stored on a Fire TV, household profiles stored by a self-hosted server, and limited information held by Young Studio. The correct deletion path depends on which data you want removed.
Local media remains local.

Designed as a system, experienced as a product.
The technical depth remains available without turning the normal viewing experience into a server dashboard.
Remove the Fire TV client and its credentials
A user can remove the local Finetic application data through Fire TV Settings under Applications, Manage Installed Applications, Finetic, then Clear data. Uninstalling Finetic also removes its local server address, device credentials and interface preferences.
The paired server owner can immediately invalidate the television credential under Devices & Sessions. Revoking the device prevents it from reconnecting even if application data remains on the television.
Delete viewing history without deleting the profile
A signed-in Finetic user can open Watch History in the server web interface and select Clear history. Individual history records can also be removed. A server administrator can clear analytical records for one profile and configure automatic history and telemetry retention.
Request deletion of a household profile
Finetic household profiles are created and controlled by the owner of the self-hosted server, not by Amazon or a central Young Studio account. Contact that server owner or administrator to request removal of the profile, its access and associated local records. The administrator can revoke every session immediately while completing the request.
Young Studio cannot enter a privately operated Finetic installation or delete records from it. If the server owner needs technical assistance completing a lawful deletion request, they can contact hello@youngstudio.uk without sending passwords, tokens or a database copy.
Request deletion of information held by Young Studio
For evaluation, entitlement, early-access or support information held by Young Studio, email hello@youngstudio.uk with the subject “Data deletion request”. State the email address used for the request and, where relevant, the non-secret installation identifier. Do not include a licence token, password, media path or viewing history.

Install the compiled server with Docker Compose and evaluate every server feature. No card, automatic charge or source-repository access is required.
