Documents in this legal centre
The following documents should be read together. If a specific document governs a particular activity, that specific document takes priority over a more general description of the same activity.
- Website and service terms
- Finetic Software Licence Agreement
- Acceptable Use and Media Rights Policy
- Copyright Complaints Policy
- Privacy Notice and account-data deletion process
- Subscription and Evaluation Terms
- Third-Party Software, Services and Trade Marks Notice
Finetic supplies software, not entertainment content
Finetic does not provide films, television programmes, channels, torrents, download sources or access to third-party streaming catalogues. It organises and plays media made available to a Finetic server by its administrator.
The administrator is responsible for ensuring that every stored, streamed, displayed or shared item is used with the permissions required by applicable law. A Finetic subscription or evaluation does not grant rights in any media.
Local servers remain under their administrators’ control
Young Studio does not routinely receive, store or inspect the video files held by private Finetic installations. The server administrator controls local libraries, users, history and guest links. Young Studio can act only on services and distribution channels it controls, subject to applicable law.
