Troubleshoot: “Failed to fetch” or Command Centre offline

Restore the local customer interface when it cannot reach the VRA background service without disturbing game accounts.

What “Failed to fetch” normally means#

The customer interface could not receive a usable response from the local VRA background service. It does not by itself mean a farm action failed or that a game account is damaged.

The cause can be a stopped service, application update, Windows firewall decision, crashed process, stale interface session or a port already used by another local program.

Recovery order#

  1. 1

    Stop clicking Run

Do not create more intent while service state is unknown.

  2. 2

    Check Environment Health

If it opens, use the service and connection checks shown there.

  3. 3

    Refresh the Command Centre once

A stale browser or desktop view may reconnect.

  4. 4

Restart only the documented VRA service

Do not restart or delete emulator profiles as a first response.

  5. 5

    Check firewall and port messages

Use the exact released service name and support instructions.

  6. 6

    Collect logs if it returns

Note whether active work resumed, stopped or requires inspection.

Escalate with#

  • VRA version and Windows version.
  • Approximate time the interface last worked.
  • The Environment Health result or a screenshot of the connection error.
  • Whether LDPlayer/game processes remained open.
  • Whether Windows, VRA, LDPlayer or security software updated immediately beforehand.
