Clear rules and explicit boundaries.
These pages distinguish the software Finetic supplies, the media controlled by a server administrator and the centrally operated services controlled by Young Studio.
What Young Studio controls
Young Studio controls the public website, public documentation, official product listings, original demonstration assets, compiled Finetic distributions, entitlement services and its own support channels.
A customer’s media files are normally stored and transmitted by that customer’s independently operated server. Young Studio does not routinely possess those files and may be technically unable to remove material from a private installation. Where appropriate, a complainant should contact the server operator or relevant hosting or network provider.
Submit a complete rights notice
Email hello@youngstudio.uk with the subject “Copyright notice”. Include:
- Your full name, organisation and reliable contact details
- The copyrighted work, trade mark or other right you represent
- The exact Finetic-controlled URL, listing or material complained of
- Why the identified use is not authorised by the owner, its agent or law
- A good-faith statement that the information is accurate and you are authorised to act
- Your physical or electronic signature
Review and proportionate action
Young Studio may request missing information, preserve relevant evidence, remove or replace controlled material, disable a controlled link, restrict an account or entitlement where legally justified, or explain why it cannot act on a private server.
Notices are assessed in good faith. Submitting a knowingly false or misleading notice may create legal liability. The policy does not promise removal where a use is licensed, legally permitted, misidentified or outside Young Studio’s control.
Response and counter-notice
A person affected by removal or restriction may reply with identification of the material, an explanation of their permission or lawful basis, supporting evidence, contact information and a statement that the response is accurate. Young Studio may restore material when appropriate unless a legal restriction or valid proceeding prevents restoration.
No unregistered safe-harbour claim
This public process is intended to make rights complaints actionable. It does not state that Young Studio is registered as a United States DMCA designated agent, does not waive any right or defence, and does not expand Young Studio’s technical control over customer servers. Formal legal notices should identify the law relied upon and the remedy requested.
